Liverpool legal firm SGI Legal has secured an additional seven-figure funding deal with NatWest.
The law firm works within the personal injury sector.
From its launch in July 2012, SGI Legal has grown rapidly to a £7m annual turnover firm which employs 80 staff.
It is hoped the funding from NatWest will allow SGI Legal to increase case volume by 25 per cent over the next year.
Partner at SGI Legal, Simon Shaw, said: “The sector has changed quite a bit over the last couple of years, and as a business, we have focussed on improving our efficiency so we can offer a better service to clients and open up new opportunities.
“In addition we have a profit focussed financial model. Our ability to understand and project profit per case, per fee earner and per square foot of our office space has been viewed as fundamental from the outset.
“As a new business we have been able to achieve a structure and financial model which is consistent with the regulatory changes that have taken place in the sector.
“The stability of the model, coupled with our focus upon constantly refining and improving it through innovation, provides an infrastructure which is consistent with growth.”
Funding facilities were obtained by NatWest relationship director Andrea Kelly who specialises in supporting professional services customers.
Andrea said: “I was delighted to support SGI Legal as it embarks on its ambitious growth plans.
“The firm’s management team have created an efficient business model and I wish them every success for the future.”
